The Turaki School Board of Trustees is elected for a 3 year period, with the next election in 2013.
The Board’s key roles are to:
- Govern the school, with management and leadership being delegated to the Principal and teaching staff.
- Set goals and policies for the school and monitor the school’s performance against those goals and policies
- Appoint the and support the principal, and ratify all other staff appointments
- Ensure there is good communication between the school and its community
The Board of Trustees meets monthly, generally on the 3rd Monday at 5:10pm in the Principal’s office. As this is a public meeting, parents, guardians and other interested parties are welcome to attend.
