The Turaki School team is made up of a wonderful mix of teachers and support staff whose aim it is to do the very best for every child at school. They are well supported by the Board of Trustees and Turaki Support Group.
Our team is made up of 13 classroom teachers, a Kaiarahi i te reo, 5 support teachers (who work in classes when teachers are working on release time or in Reading Recovery programme), 7 support staff (who generally work one-to-one with children), two administration staff, a resource manager and Mr Shore, our caretaker.
We are also fortunate to be the host school for Mrs Sanderson. She is the Resource Teacher of Literacy who supports teachers and pupils across the Central King Country cluster.
We also employ staff for our Before School and After School Care programmes. Our Principal and Deputy Principal complete the team.
